Board of Trustees

Our Board of Trustees are dedicated to our mission of ensuring evry child has access to quality education,
while joining in our bid to tackle the underlying challenges that prevent children from going or staying
in school across Africa.
Lagi Innocent is a Legal Practitioner and Activist. He has worked as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ministry of Justice, Lafia Nasarawa State (2013-2014). A member, Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Wamba Constituency (2008-2011).

A National Legal Adviser, Labour Party (2002-2011). Program Officer, Justice and Peace Development Commission (JDPC) Abuja (2003). Program Officer, Ashoka Innovators for the Public (2002). Consulted on the inclusion of the National Industrial Court for its jurisdiction into Nigerian constitution.

He was a founding member of the Labor Party Nigeria in 2002 (known then as Party for Social Democracy) and its first National Legal Adviser. A position he held until 2011. He contested elections for House of Assembly in Nasarawa in 2003 as the only Labour Candidate under Party for Social Democracy. He is currently running for Gubernatorial elections Nasarawa State

Pharm Obi is a renowed Pharmacist. He has served at the national and state level of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He currently is a  Director at the Hospital Management Board Umuahia Abia State.

He has served as advisory member of the board of various coperations and non profit organisations.

Mr. Deji West, Bsc, MBA, FCA has been Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director of Finance and Director of Niger Delta Exploration & Production PLC since 2016.

Mr. West served as a Finance Director of Nigeria at Afren PLC. since August, 2009. Mr. West leads the finance function at Afren Nigeria. He has over 23 years’ experience and has an in-depth knowledge of commerce, finance and accounting from his time in several industries – including distribution, consulting, banking, manufacturing and oil and gas. Previously, Mr. West served as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Sahara Group: Nigeria’s largest private oil and gas company.
He worked with many organisations including British Petroleum, Price Waterhouse (now PWC) and Mellon Bank.

He is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1990 and also in Nigeria. He graduated from City University of London in 1986 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He obtained an MBA in 1997 (City University, London).


Mark is Ceo/ Founder Productive People Nigeria, an organisation tackling
the human capital problems plaguing Africa's largest economy.
